The above word counts are guidelines only, and we encourage submissions by email. All hard copy manuscripts should be double spaced and in large enough type to be easily read.

We edit articles for grammar and clarity of reading by suggesting changes in an article. For most of our contributors, this is done by email, phone, or through the mail. Our main concern is to express to an author where an article is not clear or is difficult to read. Most authors find this kind of communication very helpful and are able to rework passages to more clearly express their ideas. The dialogue between author and editor is important to us, and we do not make changes in an author’s work without his or her agreement and permission.
